Plasma Pen Aftercare 

• Day of treatment: Some swelling. Feels hot like a sunburn. This feeling can last for the rest of the day
• Day 2 Lots of swelling (the most swelling), especially in the morning.
• Day 3: Swelling.
• Day 4: Itchy sensation and tightness. Swelling decreases. Dots dry and start to fall off over the next 7 days for face, longer on the body.

How to Care for Your Skin After Treatment

For 7 Days After Treatment

Wash the area gently with tepid boiled water, carefully pat dry. Apply a small pea size of Aftercare cream 2 x per day

No Makeup

Do not use Actives or Anti Ageing Creams (Retinols, Tretonin, Retin A)

No Sauna, Spa, Swimming

No exposing the area to sunlight

Drink at least 2 Ltrs of water per day

For 2 weeks After Treatment

Gentle cleansing and moisturising using fragrance free products

Do not use AHA’s Glycolics or Retinols

Do not use Exfoliating Products

Cosmetic Treatments

Do not do any cosmetic treatments on the treated area for 6 weeks.

• Hair Removal laser
• Carbon Peel laser
• PRP
• Botox/Fillers
• BB Glow
• Active Peels (AHA, Enzyme, etc)

Ongoing: 

Sun exposure should be avoided, if not, you must wear SPF Sunscreen

No Sun beds or Sun baking
